(Austin, TX)  --  A federal judge is blocking enforcement of parts of Texas' controversial abortion law.  The law was scheduled to take effect tomorrow.  It requires abortion providers to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals.  The "Houston Chronicle" reports that a federal judge ruled that requirement is unconstitutional and amounts to an undue burden on women.  Planned Parenthood and the ACLU are fighting the law.  The issue is expected to proceed to higher courts.
